Privacy policy

Last updated Nov 1, 2026

ISaidThis is a meeting recorder and note taker for iPhone, made by Lucas Alexander (Oak & Ledger). This policy says what the app and its cloud keep, why, and who else touches it. Short version: your audio stays on your phone, nothing is sold, there are no ads and no tracking.

On your phone

If you sign in (optional)

Recording and transcribing work without an account. Signing in with Apple turns on the connectors (email notes, the Claude link, sync). Then we keep:

This is stored in Amazon Web Services (United States), encrypted at rest, and used only to run the features you turned on.

Who else handles your data

We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone else, do not show ads, and do not use analytics or tracking.

Google user data

If you sign in with Google, ISaidThis receives only your basic profile (name and email address) through Google's sign-in, and uses it only to create your account, show who is signed in, and send meeting notes to you if you turn that on. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google data. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except as described in this policy. ISaidThis's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Keeping and deleting

Recording other people

Laws about recording conversations differ by place; some require everyone's consent. Tell people when you are recording. You are responsible for following the law where you record.

Children

ISaidThis is not meant for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes and contact
